I am trained in LGBTQ-Affirmative Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a structured, identity-affirming approach that adapts CBT to address the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals.This training, offered by the Yale LGBTQ Mental Health Initiative, equips therapists to help clients reduce internalized stigma, process minority stress, and build coping strategies rooted in community strength and cultural pride.
